Connect in-person and virtually with a global audience of battery technologists from leading automotive OEMs and their key suppliers for a must-attend three days exploring development trends and breakthrough technologies

Call for Speakers Now Open

Battery technologists from more than 40 leading OEMs, cell manufacturers, and pack integrators participated virtually last year. This year's conference will take place at the San Diego Convention Center with a virtual feed for those who cannot attend in-person. This new model gives you the option to experience the event in-person, online, or both.

Delegate feedback was extremely positive with 73% of attendees saying they were very satisfied or satisfied with the virtual event. The ability to join favorite speakers live, while watching others on-demand at their convenience, was one of the most popular features with attendees. Other delegates appreciated the ability to connect with the right attendees via direct message and private Zoom rooms.

While most speakers will be invited, if you would like to be considered for a podium presentation, please submit a speaker proposal by February 26 for priority consideration.

And when you are ready to attend, take advantage of our flexible registration policy which will allow you to register with confidence and easily switch between in-person and virtual participation.

About the Event

Governments across the globe and international automakers alike continue their bullish outlook on the future of electrified transportation. Consequently, the technological development needed to support vehicle electrification must keep pace with rising expectations – batteries with enhanced performance, durability, cost, and abuse tolerance are indeed crucial to the viability of each of the hybrid/electric vehicle powertrains. AABC was founded to review the status of automotive battery technology and provide informed glimpses into the future. The in-person and virtual program will uncover the underlying technical and business issues that will impact the pace and path of vehicle electrification worldwide.
